"Humphrey" is inspired by an actual camel we met while camping in the Merzouga desert- this sweet guy was traveling across the desert with a Nomadic group and stayed behind to get some extra attention. We gave him chin scratches until he had enough and moved along to catch up with his herd. I wanted to capture him in this state of bliss with the slight mischievous smirk on his face.
